Welcome to Linglot.com! My name is Zach Graham and I am a medical student from Minnesota. In my free time, I love to study language and learn how to converse with people of different parts of the world. I am currently studying Spanish, Portuguese, and playing a little with French and Arabic.

About the Site

Where did this site get its name? Hmm… “Linglot.” Kind of strange, isn’t it? Well, I was thinking one day and suddenly I thought “why not combine two of the oldest languages together?” Latin and Greek. I took the word for “language” or “tongue” in both languages (lingua and glossa, respectively) and slammed them together, thus inventing my own word, linglot. Brilliant, isn’t it? Many would probably consider it absurd, but I don’t really care what they think.
